Today’s LED bulbs are up to seven times more energy efficient than conventional incandescent lights, reduce energy use by more than 80 percent and can last more than 25 times longer. In the street and roadway submarket, LEDs are predicted to reach 83% market share by 2020 and nearly 100% by 2030, according to a U.S. Department of Energy study.
